HISTORY ABOUT THE CLIMATE.

ABOUT GREENHOUSE GASES AND THEIR INFLUENCE.

The objective of this work is to analyze the proposals and activities related to the solution of the effects of climate change and sustainability. Due to global warming, society has focused its attention on the increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere as the main greenhouse gas responsible for climate change, primarily due to anthropogenic activities and particularly from the combustion of fossil materials. However, up to a certain limit, the presence of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is necessary to maintain the planet’s optimal temperature and is the raw material for green plants to carry out photosynthesis, which produces the oxygen necessary for the survival of humanity.

USEFUL INFORMATION.

Causes of the increase in CO2.

Think of the Earth as a big ball. The ball is protected by a layer of air. In this air there is a special gas called carbon dioxide, the famous CO2, which acts like a very light blanket. This blanket helps the earth stay warm, just like you cover yourself with a blanket in winter. A long time ago, before there were cars, factories and houses like ours, the layer of carbon dioxide was thin. But people began using substances like coal, oil, and natural gas to run their machines and heat their homes, around the time of the Industrial Revolution. By burning these things, we release a large amount of carbon dioxide into the air, which makes the blanket thicker. They are like several blankets around the earth, because of them more heat, the temperature rises, that is why there are changes with the climate.
